Today morning, when I checked Netflix, I was surprised to see SRK’s Jawan has been uploaded.
I’ve already seen Jawan back in Sep, within the first week of it’s release in theatre. And I thought it was a trash.
Since it’s release it has garnered staggering collection in BO, everybody has been talking about how good the movie is.
So when I saw it’s thumbnail on Netflix, I thought let’s give it another try, never know I might like this time.
So I started to watch the movie, and this time I could not take it beyond 30 minutes.
And I thought how a person like SRK, with 30 years career success span, could do such a non-sensical movie full of over acting and loud music?
Given a choice would he watch this move himself and waste 3 hours?
But then it occurred to me, this movie was not made for people like me. And those it has been made for, have liked it.
And that’s what matters.
As a professional, whether as an employee or entrepreneur one does not have to like what he does, all he has to make sure is that those who matter like what he does.
For SRK it’s his followers, for an employee/customers it’s his management and for an entrepreneur it’s his customers.
Successful are those who outgrown their likes and dislikes.
Working for passion, is for fools.
Wise men work for money.
If your passion does not make you money, it’s not worth your time.
Get rid of it or relive it after making money!
End of the day, its me who has to chose, whether I follow the path to success or waste my time figuring out my likes and dislikes and eventually become a failed troll.
